DANA MCFARLAND
Board Member​
Century 21 Signature Real Estate
Born and raised in Lynnville, I have deep roots in the communities I serve. My husband and I raised our family in Lynnville-Sully before making Lake Ponderosa our home nearly three years ago. My connection to rural Iowa has given me a genuine appreciation for the people, businesses, and neighborhoods that make small towns such special places to live.

Before beginning my career in real estate, I owned and operated a screen printing and embroidery business, where I developed a strong commitment to customer service, communication, and supporting local organizations and businesses. Recently licensed as a Realtor® in the state of Iowa, I continue to build relationships throughout the communities of Poweshiek County while gaining a deeper understanding of the housing needs that impact local economic growth.

I am passionate about strengthening rural communities, supporting small businesses, and expanding access to affordable housing. As a member of the Poweshiek County Development Board, I am honored to contribute to initiatives that foster economic opportunity, encourage sustainable growth, and help ensure our communities remain vibrant places where families, businesses, and future generations can thrive.
Amanda Accola
Board Member
Alliant Energy
Amanda has served as a Senior Key Account Manager with Alliant Energy for the past 10 years, partnering with major commercial and industrial customers as a trusted energy advisor while collaborating with community and economic development organizations to support business attraction, retention, and growth. She brings more than 20 years of account management experience across multiple industries and holds a bachelor's degree in marketing from Iowa State University.

When she's not working, you'll find Amanda on the sidelines cheering on her two kids, Gavin and Perry, as they compete in football and volleyball. An avid reader and fitness enthusiast, she also challenges herself with endurance training and ultra marathons She is also a proud Iowa State supporter, she rarely misses a chance to cheer on the Cyclones.

Amanda is excited to collaborate with the board and watch Poweshiek County's progress firsthand. When asked to describe our mission in one word, she said it best: Relationships.
